About the Artist Shrigley lives and works as an artist in Brighton, UK. He earned a BFA from Glasgow School of Art in 1991. He recalls wanting to be Andy Warhol or Marcel Duchamp instead of some greasy haired painter as an art student. One of his first exhibitions was called My Little Toilet (exhibited in his share house toilet). He has since gone on to become an internationally recognized artist and was nominated for the prestigious Turner Prize in 2013.
