Damson Madder recommends washing coats infrequently — airing them out after each wear and spot-cleaning minor marks is usually enough. For minor stains, treat them early with a mild stain remover or a gentle 50/50 mix of water and vinegar (always patch-test first).When a wash is needed, keep it cool: up to 30°C with a mild detergent will refresh the fabric without wearing it down. Air-dry away from direct heat and sunlight, then hang in a cool, breathable space to keep it fresh. Thanks to the polyester content, this blend resists creasing and usually needs little to no ironing — a light steam or low iron is only needed if you want a more polished finish.
